She was a member of the Ladies' Garment Workers Union. Mrs. Quaranta was born in New York and lived in Freehold Township before moving to West Long Branch 27 years ago. Her husband, Orizio, died in 1985. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Vivian Tomaine, Long Branch, and Evelyn Perrella, West Long Branch; two sisters, Caroline Reamer, Middletown Township; and Ann Comforto, Florida, and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Rando was born in Brooklyn and lived in Queens most of her life before moving to Howell two years age. Her husband, Anthony, died in January. Surviving are two daughters, Connie Van Nest, Howell Township, and Lorraine Harrigan, Brooklyn; a brother, Alfred Miracola, Youngstown, Ohio; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. ELIZABETH B. SARAKWASH SMITH, 78, of Monroe Township, whose son and daughter live in WALL TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was an accountant for Executive Buying Services, Cranbury Township for 15 years retiring in 1986. She was a Councilwoman in Monroe from 1956 to 1958, treasurer for eight years, and a member of the Township Democratic Organization. Mrs.
Smith was born in Manhattan and lived in Monroe Township for the past 45 years. Her son, Paul T. Smith, died in February 1990. Surviving are her husband, Allen two sons, Allen Smith Monroe Township; and Anthony Smith, Wall Township; one daughter, Diane Bradford, Wall Township; four grandchildren, and one grandchild.
