A choice indeed. An important choice. A moment to moment choice that becomes more difficult in the midst of hardship, but even in those moments - especially in those moments the choice is the same. Choose happiness.

Thank you for sharing this insightful post. I completely agree that happiness is a choice that we make every day. It's not something that can be achieved through external factors, but rather it comes from within. I will definitely check out the book you recommended, as I believe that becoming a great leader starts with unlocking our own potential. #giffordthomas #leadershipfirst #leadership

Leadership is often seen through the lens of authority and power, but one of its most profound aspects is how we handle challenges. Rather than viewing them as mere obstacles, consider them as valuable lessons and gifts.Challenges push us beyond our comfort zones and test our resilience. They force us to think creatively, adapt swiftly, and lead with empathy. Every setback is a setup for growth. When faced with difficulty, we are given an opportunity to learn about our own limits and strengths, and to develop the skills needed to overcome adversity. Happy Tuesday!#leadershipchallenges #traininganddevelopment #leadingthroughchange #lessonslearned

Leadership must be flexible to shifts and changes in course. Especially in this day and age where tech moves faster than ever before. Yes, have a plan and chart a path to your end goal but recognize changes that may occur due to personnel, environment, internal and external stakeholders, and other factors. SWOT and SOAR analysis are crucial for organizations to identify what makes them tick. #Leadership #Coaching #Mentorship #BenchmarkLeadershipGroup

🌟 Embrace the Marathon Mindset: A Daily Reminder 🌟In the fast-paced world we live in, it's easy to get caught up in the rush and forget that success is not a sprint—it's a marathon. 🏃♂️💨Every day, I remind myself that progress is built through persistence, patience, and a steady pace. It's not about how quickly you get to the finish line but about the resilience and determination you show along the way. Each step, no matter how small, is a victory. So, as you navigate through life each day, remeber : keep your focus on the long run, celebrate the milestones, and stay committed to your goals. The marathon is long, but every stride counts toward the ultimate finish line. Keep moving forward, and the rewards will follow. 💪🚀Let’s stay motivated and support each other in this marathon of life! 🫶🏻🤍#MarathonMindset #Growth #Resilience #LongTermSuccess

Earlier today, a dear friend shared an ordeal they recently went through, and as they described their “setback,” I could feel just a fraction of the frustration and disappointment they experienced. While offering empathetic support, I suggested that perhaps this setback was a setup to avoid a bigger pitfall, that the outcome could have been worse, and that something greater is on the horizon.I’m grateful they felt safe enough to be vulnerable and open about not being okay during the process. After giving themselves the space to go through the motions and let the dust settle, they’re now able to breathe, get up, and keep moving forward.Remember, it’s okay to not be okay.No day is perfect. We all process differently. We need space and time to weather the storm.Always lean on what gives you stability. Reach out to those you trust who:* Respect and genuinely care for you* Pour positivity into you* Speak life into and over youOften, that strength comes from within—within you. Pivot if you must, but stay or return to a disposition of being positive, proactive, patient, and persistent.#overcome #support #selfcare #leadership#nsbooyerconsulting
